Stated Purpose: To Restore, Preserve and Promote The Historic Ohio Theatre transforming it into a Vibrant Performing Arts Center serving the Greater Lima Community for generations to come. Our Mission is to Preserve this historic theatre’s rich history, to ensure its legacy and provide for its future through fundraising for capital improvements, repairing and strengthening the building’s structure and systems and modernizing all theatrical systems and equipment to state of the art technology. Additionally, we will provide funding to promote the theatre and its programs enabling it to continue to provide access to the arts, entertainment and education for all well into the future.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES:
For a set amount (below), a donor will have the opportunity to name an area after themselves or a person or organization of their choosing. This tribute will include a bronze plaque prominently displayed in the area that will read: “DONOR’S NAME”. “The refurbishment of this Historic ___________ was made possible by a very generous donation given to The Friends of the Ohio Theatre by ____________ in 2021” This phrase will be repeated in the Show program for all productions and the Donor’s name will be included on the Wall of Fame in the Lobby.
